My boxer generally eats whatever I feed him. Usually its some cheap dry dog food, and of course table scraps. Sometimes he enjoys whatever small animal he can catch & kill. Not necessarily proud of that last part but there isn't a lot I can do to stop him when he runs off into the woods and brings back half of a squirrel or rabbit.

My boston terrier gets the Blue Buffalo Chicken & brown rice recipe. He loves it. He only eats 1/2 cup in the morning and 1/2 cup when I get home so a 15lb bag usually lasts a little over a month. He's kinda getting to be a fatass. The vet wanted me to cut his food back so he'd lose about 3 lbs. but I don't want him to be hungry all the time. I'm just gonna walk him more.

My Boston terrier eats a bowl of wheaties in the morning since he is a champion, for lunch he destroys a plate of 12 of the worlds hottest chicken wings, and for dinner he finishes up the day with a nice juicy t-bone steak from a cow he killed early on in the day.
He is a beast.

Also, he loves carrots and green beans. I have a 13 week Golden Retriever/Pit Bull mix. He is 17 pounds.

Do those of you who feed your dog lower quality food, are you of the opinion that
- you aren't aware of what the food is made of and know a difference - higher quality food is too expensive for you - you love your dog, but high quality dog food is too expensive and not necessary Not trying to bash anyone at all, just curious!
