![]() The Westboro Baptist Church went to picket the funerals of the fallen children of the heinous shooting. Proclaiming it was “gods” judgement due to the state standing up for gay marriage. Well, they came face to face with hundreds of Hells Angels. The bikers formed a human wall blocking Westboro from entering. Needless to say, the disrespectful haters backed down. You came to the wrong neighborhood, Westboro Those bikers always follow Westboro though, they rev their motor cycle engines to drown out the shouts. most of them are military veterans.. They call themselves the Patriot Guard Another picture that gives me hope. Drowning out the sound of hate.

Patriot Guard? Why did you call them hell's angels?
Not Patriot Guard nor Hell's Angels this from the link: However, Good Samaritans were already there to thwart any possible protest with a human wall. CORRECTION: A previous version of this article reported that motorcyclists organized by the Patriot Guard Riders attended the service. However, an official in the group reported to HuffPost that the Patriot Guard Riders did not orchestrate or officially participate in any services. A change has been made to reflect this. A round of applause for the misunderstood bikers. They do a great job helping protect the decency grieving families and friends deserve.

It is sad that a segment of society thinks wbc has anything to do with a true church. they are neither bsptists or a church in the traditional sense. that is a nothing more than a cult. i thank the patriot guards for their volunteer service.

So, my wife was telling me that someone posted every bit of personal information for every member of that "church" including names, addresses, cell numbers, social security numbers, etc online somewhere in retaliation for their protests. That's pretty funny.

From Patriotguard,org
Patriot Guard Riders Mission Statement The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us. We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn't matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect. Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives: Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors. We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means. To those of you who are currently serving and fighting for the freedoms of others, at home and abroad, please know that we are backing you. We honor and support you with every mission we carry out, and we are praying for a safe return home for all. Last edited by longsc1; 12-23-2012 at 12:00 PM. Reason: Add Information |

The Patriot Guard attended my Dad's funeral a few years back. He was a retired veteran. They set up a perimeter around the funeral home, manned each entrance, then led the procession to the cemetery, where they also set up a perimeter and manned the front gate. Those guys and gals are an awesome group of people.
My brother is a biker, and said it was a consortium of motorcycle clubs from all over that traveled up to Newtown in solidarity to support the fallen's services.
