I have a feeling that Shaq is going to be very popular in college football news. It is good to hear that he is doing well this early in the season.

Last week. I think I would infer, from the timing, that some new players came into camp and made it obvious to him he needed to transfer down for PT. But I don't know for sure.

It says good things about our program when talented players have to leave for PT, McEvoy and Sanders both were in a position where we have more talented players whether you think so about cb's or not, cadarious thought so. this is a good thing to me.

I always liked Kornblut and have never had a problem with him. It's all the MoRon disciples the state aka the orange propaganda machine puts out there covering the Gamecocks that get me fired up. Why in the world we have had to put up with this mess for all these years is beyond me. This would never be allowed in Athens, Tuscaloosa, Baton Rouge, etc. Ray Tanner's 1st fund raiser project as AD should be "The buy the state newspaper fund!" I would personally be the first donor in line with a six figure check for that one. All yall in the know go tell that...

It sounds to me Jerell and Shaq might have moved up the depth chart after this scrimmage...and it sounds like Adam Yates took a huge step becoming our kicker.

He's a scholly kicker, he is our kicker. Pretty sure of that.

I will give you information for that check. Just send it to my house addressed to me and made out to me and I'll carry it up to Ray. I promise!

Guy's got one hell of a vertical. His only good catch the first two days of
practice was when he went up and grabbed on over a DB, and looked like
he was 3 fee over the guy..... I've seen him make two more catches like
that since then and he's made some nice adjustments since the opening
two days of practice. Seems to learn quickly and is getting comfortable in
the offense now. He doesn't fight for the ball much when the DBs have him
covered tightly, and he can't seem to fight through checks at the line.
He'll have to work on that, but the kid is athletic and can make some
plays when he gets a little separation from the defenders. Little bit more
work on the fundementals, & bulk up some and we're going to have a smaller
version of Sidney Rice / Alshon Jeffery with a good bit more speed !

I really think they used the O/Line the first couple of series (the ones
I missed) because I didn't see them much on the field at all when I got
there. Worked a lot with the second and third unit Line. Some good
work there by Matulis, Stadnik and the like. Opened some nice holes for
Marcus on his three carries, and sprung Wilds several times on that one
long drive where Thompson Scored. ... Also made some running lanes for
Josh Blue on that last drive. .... Sacks came mainly as a result of good
coverage by the secondary, and a big loss off a bad snap.
