I bet the odds are greater than 50% that he'll be a Gamecock.
1) His father and uncle were both Gamecocks (I saw them both at the game today, too). 2) His big sister is a Gamecock and she would be a senior when he's a freshman in college. 3) By the time PJ is ready to make a college decision,Frank will have the Gamecocks humming.

Imagine if somehow Thornwell stays for his junior season, Stroman stays for his sophomore season, and Dozier comes in as a freshman. That would easily be one of the best backcourts in the country.

Don't forget about Ahmed Hill - a Shooting Guard and yet another top 50 guy that wants to play with Stroman. Thornwell is a swing guy that can play the #3, would be a great to have Hill, Dozier, Stroman and McKie (with Tyronne Johnson) for the next few years at the two guard positions.

PJ is so smooth with the ball, he looks more like a point man to me, some really nice passes. We have potentially great SG Sindarius on board. There may be another big local name for us next year (2014). We already have local PG Stroman in 2014. Landing PJ could make three years in a row of keeping the best player(s) at home. Imagine that backcourt, and their ability to share the rock AND score.
We have stiff competition on the recruiting trail, but Frank is the kind of coach that can get this done. We all know what happened to the football team when we started keeping our elite guys at home year after year... I know this competition sucks, but look at his swag:
