My all time favorites are guys who do not leave with eligibility remaining. Here are my top 4.
Duce Staley - so much fun to watch him drag defenders, a pure workhorse RB. JC transfer who played out his eligibility at USC. John Abraham - could take over a game in college and in the NFL, led team in sacks for 4 years, power and speed and a pure badass, played out his eligibility at USC. Devin Taylor - hometown boy! Best ever Gamecock from Beaufort (maybe Legree can do something about that), and DT played out his eligibility at USC. George Rogers - just one of the best RB's to ever play the game. And you guessed it, he played out all his eligibility at USC. |
