Anyone remember the play right after the Clowney hit?

Great thread, y'all. I stayed up past my bedtime watching all these. I got a few of my own.

First, another one from the Wayback Machine. Versus Georgia, 1993. Scroll forward to 2 hours, 20 minutes and watch the other team snatch defeat from the jaws of victory for a change.

Y'all ought to remember this one and I'm surprised nobody put this one in yet. I have always wanted to know what Swearinger said to Ellington after leveling him.

IMO a top 10 play of Gamecock baseball history, and I rarely hear it get mentioned. Scroll ahead to around 2:20 for the goods, or just sit back and enjoy the whole thing; it's well worth it.

During that series, Florida could have had the winning run on home plate and we still could have found a way out of the jam.

One more from the Wayback Machine. Remember the time we beat Notre Dame in South Bend? '84 was a pretty good year. I don't have time to watch the whole game, but you should when you have time. Here's the first half:

Keep them coming, y'all.

You don't have to watch the whole video, but the play I refer to was the famous Brian Winter's shot to beat the mighty Marquette Warriors. His drive from half court to the top of the key starts at the 29 second mark.....

I was there!!

That is the first one that came to mind. I wasn't a student but was sitting in the student section when that happened.

Not football but an incredible comeback. Believe we were down 19 at halftime. CBS cut away from the game. Antonio Grant for the game winner against Cincinnati.

Probably the most exciting baseball game I've ever seen.
The ending to that game was incredible!! Unbelievable that we escaped!

that resulted in a 70 yard TD and stuck a dagger in the heart of the Georgia team.
That win propelled the team to their (at that time) best season ever in the history
of the program.

I was at that game and I still say even to this day, and after watching our program
recently exceed that 10 win season, and watching the amazing Defensive squads
we fielded during the 2010-2013 seasons, that that game with UGA in 1984 was
the single best game start to finish I have ever seen the Gamecocks defense play.
It was basically the emergence of the FIRE ANT defense, and what came to be known
for the program as "Black Death". We stopped a very potent UGA offense 3 times
on fourth down, two of those were less that a yard. UGA threw several Slot Screens
against our cornerbacks that day, getting favorable one on one matchups and
time and time again, Greg Philpot, Earl Johnson, Rick Rabune etc... stepped up to
make textbook open field tackles preventing UGA from getting major yardage
from those screens. It was the best overall defense I've ever witnessed for a
single game, not only from the Gamecocks, but any football team in College
Sports.
Still love Hold at the end of the Clemson game. Putting the ball in the Fridge's face and dropping it.

Bob Fulton missed it as well. He had been honored at halftime for his career by Jim Phillips (former Clemson play-by-play guy who was an absolute 100% class act). Fulton was swamped by so many people after that ceremony that he didn't get back to the press box in time for the kickoff.
