Miller may have decision by week's end By Phil Kornblut 6-8 Tavario Miller returned to Houston Sunday night after completing his official visit at USC. He was at the Colonial Life Arena shortly before the Gamecocks tipped off their season before leaving to catch his flight. He had his mother with him for the weekend. Miller has narrowed his decision to USC and Tulsa and could choose by the end of the week or early next week. Miller got the full tour of facilities, campus and academics and said he liked it all. He also liked what he saw from Gamecock coach Frank Martin and the staff. "The coaches push the players to be better players and I think that's something I really need," said Miller who USC is recruiting as a small forward. "Coach Martin laid it out on the table how he would develop me and how he would use me." Miller said right now he's not leaning one way or the other. He said he will consult with his mother on the decision but the final call will be his. |

Per William Gunter of TBS, he took an unofficial to A & M this past weekend and now says it's either them or us. He will make a decision tomorrow after talking to his coaches at lunch. One thing we have in our favor is he will get early playing time at Carolina where that's necessarily the case at A & M. Should know something tomorrow afternoon. This kid is
6'8" and can play....he would be a really good pick-up for us. |

Korn is reporting the same thing also.
http://www.goupstate.com/article/201...688/-1/PSPORTS November 18, 2012 Miller down to two with decision coming By Phil Kornblut 6-8 Tavario Miller of Houston is down to USC and Texas A&M and plans to have a decision Monday or Tuesday. Miller made an unofficial visit to A&M Saturday. He had used up all of his official visits with USC being the last one last weekend. Miller talked with the Gamecocks earlier today. He will meet with his coach tomorrow and make a decision soon after. "It's really tough," Miller said of the decision process. He said as of Sunday night he was not favoring either school. |

Staying "home" to play for the Aggies. Might not be a bad thing in the long run.

He would have been a nice addition, but I have a lot of trust in Frank Martin. You know, some kids might not like playing for a guy like that. Which means the ones that are here, really want to be here.
