I hope he takes it. He will suck in the NFL. His offense is about multi formations with multi personnel. You can't do that in the NFL. You get 5 WRs and 3 RBs, etc. Also the Xs and Os aren't that great just more athletic than most teams.

I just hope Oregon sucks afte he loses. Get sick of hearing about them when they have never beaten a good team from outside the PAC 12. I don't count the Rose Bowl wins over Big 10 teams.

^ Wait what? Do you even know what your talking about? Multi formation multi personnel? Explain.. Everytime I watch them I see no different personal groupings NFL teams use when they spread you out. & how are the x's and o's not that great? It's a read option based spread to run offense thats had great success year in and year out. Pretty innovative too. It's not some gimmicky pass happy offense, it's a run first wear you down by running the ball offense. If you ask me the NFL could use a little more of that. & I don't want to hear the spread won't work in the NFL. I've seen now Tebow, Cam Newton, Kaepernick, Russell Wilson all running spread option concepts. Not to mention RGIII made the giants defense look like a confused college team a few weeks ago with that spread/pistol stuff.

He will run the same formation 2 plays in a row but one time with 5 RBs in the gme then same formation with 5 WRs. You can't do things like that in the NFL because of roster size limits. He is successful in college because he is just faster than most and exploited the mismatch that he creates with his personnel alterations. He can't do that in the pros. Oregon has been beat anytime they meet anyone who athletically equal to them. The NFL is all equal talent and his offense will be shut down. All his motioning wont confuse people in the pros because they get more than 20 hours to prep for a game unlike in college.

You're starting to see more spread offenses in the NFL (partly due to the new "no contact" practice rules that were implemented after the last CBA negotiation). I think Kelly could do well -- IF he gets the players he needs and the support from the front office.

I have never heard of him having 5 running backs on the field at once. Your saying he will run a formation with five runningbacks, then the next play run the same formation with 5 WR's?? How is that even possible in a no huddle uptempo offense when they barely substitute? but I agree that the speed factor won't be advantage for him in the pros. I've seen maybe a RB at Slot WR here and there with the 2 RB set, but to me that's just utilizing his talent. If he's going to run speed sweeps with the slot WR why not have a shifty runningback there instead of a tall slower WR? As far as having 5 runningbacks in on one play then 5 wr's the next, I literally have never seen that in my life. Just sayin.
