You guys may be averaging 42+ points on your pathetic ACC schedule, but I have a nice crisp never been used $100 bill that says there is no way in hell you put up 42 on our defense! In fact, if you get half that (21), thats more like it! And I can guarantee we will score more than 21 on your pathetic defense!

The matchups against other teams don't matter much. Clemson has a good offense. They have some really good skill players. How they perform against our defense is the key issue. If we stop the run and short passing game without pulling the safeties up, we can largely shut them down. Linebackers will have to be active and effective. Our DL rushers will have to tackle Boyd, not just threaten him. He is better at escaping this year than last. If we get some hard hits, he will be more likely to hurry his throws. If we let them get us on the edges, they will be able to get deep because DB's will come up and bite on play action. If our line and DB's limit them on first down, we can put more pressure on Boyd. They may direct snap to Ellington if we keep stalling them and they get some field position. I think our linebackers and spur can answer that, especially if Byron and Quarles are healthy and clogging the middle.
If our offense can overpower them with runs and tight end passes, they will be vulnerable to deeper balls. Without Marcus, we will have to have better line blocking (run and pass), and may need to use the FB both on blocking and as an outlet. I believe that if we hit them hard early, they may get down and diminish on defense and become ragged on offense.

I've seen plenty of times when South Carolina had the better team, but Clempson came to play and won the game. Anything can happen. I think South Carolina is the better team, but they got to show up and play football.
