If Saban went to the NFL and won a Superbowl, I think it would be a big accomplishment. But if Saban went to say Vanderbilt and turned it around? (SEC Title, National Championship) Then I really think he might be the greatest coach of all time and not just one of the greatest. Although I think this will NEVER happen in a million years. Saban is more likely to try his luck at a Superbowl then completely building a winning program from nothing.

Saban is probably the best coach in football. Let him do whatever he wants to. I dont think SOS was trying to egg it on, just having a conversation about it and what he thinks about it

Saban needs some NFL coaches on his staff if he does go to the NFL though... Putting Muschamp as an NFL defensive coordinator could have been his worst mistake. (Muschamp is one of my least favorite coaches right up there with dabo..)

He did build up our facilities quite a bit. But he did not hire Holtz, SOS, or Tanner.

He did hire Horn though. But the Martin hire make up for it. We will see.
