while i agree most athletes that say academics are most important are saying what is right and not what is actually true, i feel like Hand might actually see academics as something important. read somewhere he takes AP classes (which are actually very challenging classes). most just say it for lip service but Hand seems to be honest (just a feeling). but at the same time, don't think he is going to go play at Duke or vandy bc football does play some role

In my opinion players that are looking at the NFL that are studious enough should be majoring in business to learn how to wisely invest all that money they are going to make. It's also a degree valuable outside of playing a sport.

Mike Farrell believes VT and Michigan are tied at the top, with us behind them at this stage. I guess that's not a bad position to be in, but we obviously have to get him back on campus, hopefully sometime this summer.

Everybody keeps saying that, but I just don't see him committing to us even if he comes back. He's already been once and was shown just about everything including academics and the Dodie and he liked everything he saw.
