My prediction is they start recording again. This album is obviously a product of post-Loveless hangover, many of the songs end abruptly and seem like fragments or demos.

Maybe he put this out cause he needed a clean slate.

I love how the beginning of the album starts so mellow then just picks up the pace as the album goes along. Wonder 2 is breathtaking, it's so heavy and an incredible closer.

There are a lot of things about this that remind you that My Bloody Valentine is still just a band, like studio noise, abrupt endings, weird mistakes, all sorts of little flaws that give it character. I like that.

When and how did this happen?

'Loveless' is one of the true watershed moments in modern music. Wildly important and influencial.

It didn't hit me quite as hard as Loveless, but maybe that's because I'm older and crabbier.

This album is flat out ridiculous.

Every song has a special something.

The last three tracks alone are like the best album I've ever heard. I cannot get enough of it.

I don't necessarily think it was intended to what loveless did, maybe it was supposed to be a stop gap between Loveless and something more. If this had been released in 1997 it would've become the best album of all time. The fact that it wasn't released until now doesn't hide it being a true classic.

There's a moment in Wonder 2 where it's so ridiculously good I burst out laughing every time. The guitars sound like helicopters.

I just bought it and downloaded as mp3. Listen later on the iphone, when I get off work. Exciting stuff, them doing this after so long. Loveless was the ultimate in shoe-gaze.

So, Birmingham probably sounded the clearest, Glasgow was the craziest; I was part of the massive mosh-pit right in the centre. That was the most raucous. Manchester had a more hedonistic vibe, indeed two couple were having real sex towards the end of the show near us and another pair had clearly made a pact to kiss the length of the noise section. (And that's the god's honest truth.) So Manchester wins for the most insane. And sounded fantastic.
