I can't believe that Hayden hasn't fired Lame for all of the crap he has pulled. That story about So Cal not showing up at the function would have been the last straw. I suppose that he may be waiting for his contract to get closer to the end and the sanctions to end before he cans him.

I was at the last Georgia Tech bowl victory in 2004 at the Champs Sports Bowl. Just to give you an idea of how long this bowl losing streak was for Tech fans, Calvin Johnson was a freshman the last time the Yellow Jackets won a bowl game. So happy right now, just need USC to win tomorrow and my new year will start off perfectly!

I have a friend in El Paso for the game. He said that between the function and the anti-El Paso tweets, that the locals are pissed at So Cal, and were all pulling for Tech at the game. I doubt So Cal has to worry about ever having to play in the lowly Sun Bowl again.
