Why would they take "the Curry road" (as if that's a thing)? Take a look at the recruiting rankings for the last couple years and where the top kids end up going to school. (Hint: they're not mid major programs)

No currently on our roster has any future in the NBA. Thornwell might have a chance if he lives up to the hype, but he's fighting an uphill battle by playing here.

Playing here doesn't hurt anyone's chance at the NBA. I seem to remember an unheralded Gamecock forward getting drafted in the first round a few years ago.
