Please know we are praying for you and your family. Today has been such a horrible day for our whole country. Things like this just aren't supposed to happen. May God watch over you, your family, Anna's family, and all the families that lost loved ones today, especially those that lost such young children. I can't imagine what they are going through.

I read about this online (I'm a senior at USC and believe Anna and I had a few mutual friends) but I had no idea it was your nanny. This is so upsetting. I'll be praying for your family.

Thanks for all the well wishes folks.

We had Anna's graduation party today. Her brother went to graduation and accepted her diploma for her. I was very proud of him, I don't know that I would have been able to do it.

It was great to see her parents and friends, but it was tough seeing her car parked in the driveway. The autopsy report came back with absolutely nothing wrong so the only other thing that might tell us what happened is the toxicology report. I know for a fact that Anna didn't abuse drugs of any type, so it could have been a reaction to a steroid shot she got a few days before. Truthfully, we may never know.

I hope you guys don't mind me posting this stuff, I just find that it helps me to "talk" about her.

I knew a young lady in her 20's that felt bad and left work early, when she got home she took some otc med and went to bed, never woke up. They thought it reacted with a medication she was already taking for a different problem. Very sad when young people die.

We had Anna's funeral today.

It still doesn't seem real, but being able to say goodbye like that did help. Funerals are definitely for the living. It was, without a doubt, the hardest thing I've had to go through. I've been very fortunate, as both my parents are still alive and the Grandparents that I knew lived to very ripe ages.

With Anna it was so sudden and unexpected it's really taken the wind out of me. As Jeremy Clarkson said, "speed's never killed anyone, it's the massive deceleration you have to look out for." When things end unexpectedly and without warning there's just a feeling of incompleteness that's hard to shake.

Goodby Anna, I'll miss you.

We now have another Gamecock cheering our guys on in heaven.

No. The autopsy returned nothing wrong, and as far as I know the toxicology reports were fine too.

She was just with us, and then she wasn't.
