Favorite -Big -Middle Size or Small City/Town in SC

Big- Greenville. Love Cola but have to rep the home town.

Mid- to be decided

Small- Batesburg-Leesville. shealy's bbq is great and my dad's family is from down that way.

Both towns are terrible but Florence has better people. I don't think i met a single person in 5 years at USC who was from Rock Hill. Rock Hill has better football players.

I'd never live in either.

Man, I hate to hear that. Only been to that location one time and to me it was not as good as the one in Rock Hill on Oakland Ave. I have been to many, many, wing places in SC and GA and I have to give it up to the Wing Bonz or Wing King as I still like to call it in Rock Hill, SC. I live near the GA State Line in a old cotton mill town in what is called "Horse Creek Valley" down Hwy 421 and we don't have any good wing places from Aiken to Augusta, GA. So, when I am in Rock Hill, SC, I always go to my favorite wing place and enjoy those wonderful wings. Rock Hill and the whole surrounding area is a great place and I always enjoy my visits to that part of the state.

Whats sad is they're under new management and last week they cut off smoking at the bar. I enjoyed being able to sit at the bar and smoke. They're going to lose alot of long time customers from York that i have met. I live right around the corner from Wing King. The old man that cuts hair a few doors down is the coolest dude ever. He tells me all kinds of stories about York back in the 50s and 60s.

I dont know if there are any "big" cities in South Carolina. I guess most would fall into medium and small. I like Greenville and Charleston though. Charlotte is my favorite of both NC and SC.

I was born and raised in Georgia, but my dad was born and raised in South Carolina in a little town in Georgetown County called Andrews. The house he was born in (1932) isn't there anymore, but the other house he lived in is still standing and occupied. My grandfather became principal of Andrews HS in 1924 and with the exception of 1941-1945 when he joined WWII, he stayed the Andrews HS's principal until his death in 1964. He started all of the athletic programs at Andrews HS and there's a photo of him standing with his newly formed football team in the Andrews museum. It's pretty cool.

Other than Andrews, I love Pawley's Island & Litchfield Beach.

Not if you think that they have to be big like Jersey City, Trenton, and many others. I lived in Jersey for one year and believe me that was one year too long. There were a few nice places to go to, but in the long run, it was awful. I have been to all of the big cities in the north, including Baltimore and I would take any of our large cities over any northern city in a heartbeat. Not trying to put you down, but when was the last time you heard somebody say "Hey, I just retired and I think I will move to New York City or maybe Chicago"?
