I used to keep a colletion of quotes in a notebook years ago, but
when I got laid off from my last job in 2002, The notebook got lost
in the move either while moving my personal belongings out of my
office, or in the move from Greenville to Columbia. I've just decided
to start re-collecting good quotes that I can add to a new notebook.

SO:

I'm going to sticky this thread here in the WaterCooler. Post any good
Quotes you know of, or run across in this thread. Quotes about anything.
Sports, Life, Love, Comical etc. . . . ..

Just keep them Safe to view here on the board. . .any other will be
deleted.

I could go on and on with quotes from Wooden. What an inspiration he is.

I had these two quotes in that notebook. . and as you said, a few more
from the great coach W. He reminded me a lot of Coach Holtz when he
was in his prime. Just listening to Coach Wooden talk you soon realize
this was not a man who just made a lot of good quotes in his speeches
but he was a guy that truely believed everyone of those famous quotes
and lived and coached by them . . . . . . no doubt whatsoever why he
was successful.

back in the late 70s. The guy doing the siminar had it on the overhead
