Marcus Lattimore Charity Item
Hi,
My name is Joel FitzPatrick. I am the Sports Editor at The Greer Citizen in Greer, South Carolina. I had the good fortune of covering and getting to know Marcus while he was at Byrnes. During that time, my paper did a football preview with a player from each of the schools we cover posing for a Madden video game poster. We printed glossy versions of those posters to advertise on the windows at the paper, and when we took them down Marcus was kind enough to sign his. Since we are the only ones capable of printing these posters, I know it is a rare item. To shorten this up, I am holding an online auction to raise money for Greer Community Ministries, an organization in my city that feeds and clothes the homeless and elderly. It's a $135 right now, and that's a steal. If he wins the Heisman in the future or has an amazing NFL career, I think something he signed as a high school junior is going to be a great investment.
