I know Cocky Talk has chosen to get rid of some sites when they are nothing more than rumor mongers. Maybe the site fitnews who broke the so called story on Garcia needs to be banned like some others have. Mr SEC at his site gives you more information on this blogger with a number of links to decide for yourself on this bloggers credibility or not. Have no idea about the guy. The base fact of the story is correct however. Off base on a few things and given full tabloid treatment though.

lol, about like if I saw you take a short cut thru the parking lot of the local liquor store, then printed that THE YANCEY was taking part in a drunken sex party involving at least 20 nekked women a kiddie pool and about a metric ton of jello chocolate pudding in the parking lot of the salvation army......(in the closest town to me the salvation army and a liquor store share a parking lot)...then yes, the garcia story is true in that respect

The problem is many guys don't see that as defamation at all. They consider that as part of their legend and might help get them more sex in the end. I freely admit probably more than me and one girl would probably be a waste for most of them.

That Garcia had a few beers and was told to keep it down?

I've heard that the timeline is completely off - it was not the night before the game. If so that is a HUGE inaccuracy.

Good stuff. Incorrectly reporting when it occured is a big deal.

I'm not thrilled that he was slamming brews 2 days before the game but I'm sure he was not the only college player enjoying himself a little too much the week of his bowl game.

Bottom line - I don't think Garcia having some drinks 2 days before the game affected his play.

Honestly, I have not read one other piece this guy has written, so I have no basis for comparison. But to come on a Gamecock board and ask if a guy who wrote an article outling a Gamecock athlete in a drunked sex filled night is credible, amongst 99% Gamecock fans...you probably arent going to get an unbiased answer.
