Our Gamecocks show discipline and limit themselves to very few penalties while their opponent, the vaunted Nebraska Cornhuskers, would get totally psyched out and start committing penalties on damn near every play.

This year, we frequently found a way to get into the other team's head. (See Boyd, Tajh, for an example).

I agree. While their little melt down was going on, I could not help but think of the times that has happened to us. Got a drive going to get back into the game and BAM, shoot your self in the foot. I think they had 5 penalties on that one series.

That's the same thought that crossed my mind, just how many times we shot ourselves in the foot at the wrong time. It's nice to see how far we have come even though we have a ways to go.
