Serious Question for all the CLemson Fans

I've heard many defend Dabo. He is your HC, but no Clemson fan can tell he what he coaches.

So, this is a question for all of you and no smack intended:

Who would you rather have on staff if you could only pick one coach: Morris or Swinney?

He was there wr coach. I think brad scott's leftover waste is the new wr coach and rc. He(dabo) is the head coach and doesn't have any individual/position responsibilities as far as I know.

This isn't even close. They were calling for Dabo's head last year. He's not a good coach. Great recruiter. Can't coach. It's not a coincidence that they got good when Morris came in.

Chad Morris hands down.

Morris is untested IMO. He had a great offense in what most consider to be the worse one of the worse divisions this year. BUT, Dabo just isn't a good coach. I would take my chances on Morris as he seems to have more 'football smarts'.

Morris isn't ready for a head coaching role yet, but he will be one day and after he's weathered the storm for a few years in the college ranks I'd take him. His offense is legit. But I'm not sure if we're talking head coach or coordinator here. If I had to pick one for head coach it'd be Dabo because of his intangibles and personality, but for coordinator position I'd take Morris all damn day.

If Clemson's offense plays like it did this season....I think Morris could be gone at the end of next season if the right job opens up. Regardless, I give him 2 years max.

Not sure about legit offense. You played 5 good defensive teams this year and 4 of them beat you.

We had 65% of it installed. Ohio State wanted Morris. He's the highest paid assistant. Think what you want, but the scheme is legit.

You didn't answer the question. Which one would you rather have on the Clemson coaching staff if you could pick just one: Dabo or Chad?

Dabo can be successful, he just needs really good coaches under him to do all the coaching. He can get the players there, and get em pumped to play the game, but someone has gotta do the coaching in between.

That sounds good. On the surface, it appears to be well thought out. Only one problem. It's not true. Our losses were largely because of turnovers. Not because defenses slowed down or "figured out" our offense. No, the problem with our offense is we CAN NOT turn the ball over. Turnovers took away possession time and scoring opportunities from us and gave them to our opponents. Usually in prime field position. Our defense, which is average at best to start with, has no chance when forced to defend a short field.

Against Georgia tech - 399 yards in only 21:00 possession time - 4 Turnovers.
Against N.C. State - 337 yards in only 23:31 possession time - 4 Turnovers.
Against West Virginia - 440 yards in only 22:28 possession time - 4 Turnovers.
Against Wake Forest, even though it was a win, 3 turnovers were still a factor in how close the game was. No turnovers and the game is a blowout. 522 yards in 29:52 of possession time.
South Carolina is the only team that really slowed down the offense allowing only 153 yards in 22:43 possession time with just a single turnover.

Say what you want. Your offense shined against WEAK EZZ teams. When you play with the big boys. It gets shut down. May be a great High school offense

If grandma had a dick, we'd call her grandpa. Also, most "good defensive teams" will turn the other team over.

You got most of your yards against NC State and WVU after the game was decided and their D was just playing prevent.
