once again the sec stands on top of the nation in another sport. the gamecocks won back to back national titles in baseball, bama wins the national title in football and kentucky wins the national title in basketball. the sec is unstoppable!!!

Gotta admit, I was hoping Kansas had won. Not a fan of UK, their douche coach, or their obnoxious BBN. I'm a Carolina fan. I couldn't care less who else wins from the SEC.

It's funny that the SEC doesn't get the respect it deserves in basketball. 3 of the last 7 basketball champs are SEC teams. I love the lame excuse that after the top 25% the rest of the league is average. LOL!

So what is it then? Elite? Lol.

Uk is an elite program, Florida just below them and Vandy can be pretty damn good but you can't think anyone else right now is any better.

Thought about this the other day. That's three championships for the SEC in the big three men's sports in the past twelve months. The more interesting thing though is that each of those three teams (SCar, Alabama and Kentucky) won the National Championship but lost the SEC....Well, Kentucky lost the SEC tournament.

I honestly don't think that just from the fact that they are too large of a program.

It's good for college basketball when teams like Kentucky are good, and Kentucky basketball is big enough to manipulate the NCAA, this isn't some small commuter school like Umass or Memphis.

Well, considering that KY will have to share a portion of their National Championship winnings with the rest of the league, USC's athletic deppartment checking account is a little fatter this AM. That's good for us.

But I had KU winning in the office pool, so I was pulling for my own checking account last night.

Apparently, all that is irrelevant, I read it on tigernet. Mods you should probably close this thread as either the coaches in the sports are cheaters or Mike Slive pulled strings for the SEC to get these championships.

Most wins of any program, #2 in National titles, don't exactly think you can strip that elite title due to the morality of an isolated group of fans. Is Bama not an elite football program because one of their fans molested a guy in a Krystal?
