FAU would be a tough place to turn down IMO. Especially if they are offering a scholly. About 30K students located in Boca Raton, Florida. Sounds fun if you ask me.

I have taken risk, had adrenaline hobbies, lived/traveled all over the world....50 years later, no regrets and if the Lord takes me tomorrow I feel like I have lived my life to the fullest. Still have some more things I want to achieve but no regrets or "what ifs"....

You gotta take that shot, I played one year of football, tore my acl in college, and ended up getting a medical hardship.

It's hard thinking of what could have been when I took the opportunity, I could only imagine how you would feel if you didn't even try.

Had some chances at Georgia Southern, Vandy(walk on) and Elon. Regret it every day when people around town ask me why I didnt and I really dont have a good answer bc I wish now that I did. Even if you are not sure about it, it's better to take the risk to go for it because if you did it and find its not for you you can say that you gave it the shot and still say you played football at a big D1 school. If you dont do it you'll end up like me regretting the decision and having to look like a dumbass answering peoples' questions about why you didnt go for it....PM me SGF if you'd like to hear more, I have a similar story to yours and we ran the Air Force offense, I was a running back though

Good luck to you man! I had a chance to play baseball at a small school in college. 5 of my teammates and my coach on my American Legion team went DIII and won a national title. Granted, they came back to campus and their school had shut down and closed its doors!

After my FR year, I was going to walk on at USC. I sat in Coach Raines' office and talked to him about it. However, I got busy with school and never got my physical. Can't say I regret my life but I wish I had taken a shot.

So go for it! Just make sure you do what's right for you in your best interest. Go where you will be happy as your four years will help shape and define you for life. So pick the right school, not just the best opportunity. Just my two cents.
