I want some legit moonshine. Preferably with some tasty flavoring like apple pie. I have found a few companies online selling legal moonshine, but I'd rather get some ILlegal moonshine lol and it seems like a pain to obtain the stuff, legal or not.

Any recommendations?

LOL... I know what moonshine is... let me rephrase... I want some strong white corn whiskey which when made illegally is referred to as "moonshine". I have encountered people with the stuff all the time, but never desired any for myself until now, so never thought to ask 'em where they got it.

There is a place in Gatlinburg TN that sells the stuff. all different flavors. Pretty sure they are on the internet.

Seeing as how you have encountered these people "ALL THE TIME", it
would probably be a good idea to ask one of those people where they

Ol' Smokey in Gatlinburg... legit, but weak
Palmetto Moonshine in Anderson, SC... pretty dang good.
Dark Corner in Greenville, SC... haven't tried, but heard great things.

what they sell is unaged corn whiskey, which is exactly what moonshine is. Moonshine just gets its name from the fact it's illegally made. Save yourself the headache and potential trouble, just go to one of those 3 places

Thanks, man. Yeah I found those first two places online. It said you can get the Ol' Smokey brand by contacting a specific alcohol distribution company in SC. I was hoping for something a little simpler than that. I also found the website for Palmetto Moonshine in Anderson, which seemed pretty cool, but on the "where to buy" link, it basically just said that they are trying to get it into stores. I will definitely look into Dark Corner in Greenville. I've got a buddy who just moved to G-Ville, so I should be able to make it up there or get him to grab me some.

Palmetto Moon is generally pretty good. Some people don't buy it because of the low alcohol % on the label, but trust me it's strong enough for a good time. Nothing like the homemade stuff, for which case I tell you to make low key connections if you want that. I've had the apple pie and blueberry Palmetto and the apple is by far better than blueberry. Still intrigued about their other flavors.

I saw you mention that Palmetto Moon appeared difficult to buy. I've bought it in Columbia liquor stores before. The one that comes to mind that generally carries a few flavors is Sideburns.
