Did you know most scallops around here arent scallops at all, they are shark meat. Go to Nova Scotia to get the best scallops.

urban legend. sure some have tried to pass off shark for scallops but that's not common practice. sea scallops are at all time high levels of abundance while bay scallops are at low abundance levels. scallop tissue is easy to tell apart from shark due to the way the muscle striation runs

Not true, you can get scallops locally. This used to be common, it is easy to spot if you know what to look for. Not done very often anymore. Much more common to use skate or ray than shark anyway. Regardless, that burger sounds good.

Marine science. Its what i went to school for its also the reason i didnt go back and finish after had to take time off. Make more in my current job than most with marine sci degrees and that aint saying much, really. Side note i wrote a paper years ago saying global warming was a crock of shit and that the small sample trend had stopped and was reversing for last five years. My prof ripped me a new one but gave me a choice take the f or do something else. Now recently a study came out and said no warming in the last 16 years. I would love to rub that in that prof face

thats crazy... if your paper is supported by facts who is he to tell you that your are wrong... especially since its his opinion that he is basing your grade on
