![]() I'm looking to buy a holographic sight for my AR. I am torn between EOtech and Aimpoint and change my mind daily. Right now I think I like the EOtech due to the wider field of view and smaller MOA. But the battery life of the Aimpoint is intriguing. If anyone has experience with either of these your input would be very much appreciated.

![]() I'd personally go with the EOtech because of the wider fov, though you're right about the battery life being better with the AP, however, to me, the FOV advantage outweighs the battery life

![]() Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. After doing some searching on the net it seems like most people prefer the Aimpoint which makes me second guess myself. Probably can't go wrong with either though.

![]() yeah, I mean, the odds of you getting something bad isn't really high..
and I know what you mean about the preference swaying towards aimpoint, but really it seems to depend on who you talk to..
