Wasn't it Ole Miss that Spurrier said he'd rather have on this past season's schedule than LSU or Arky or something to that effect? I'll bet they have some extra motivation the next time we play them.

We were having average seasons or worse when spurrier got here and we landed a top ten class. It happens. We continue to get good recruits and are winning like never before. I am enjoying that too much to worry about ole miss. A team we rarely play.

We went 8-5 (5th in the east) and then pulled in Rivals #6 class in 07.

It was and Freeze was not happy about it, Freeze assumed we would play them this upcoming season but we have Miss State instead. Freeze and Ole Miss had a heck of a season when you consider they were a couple of plays away from beating Texas A&M and Vanderbilt (still feels weird saying they are a good team) but overall I want to see if they can sustain success. This recruiting class they have will be good but they will have to prove it on the field.

Congrats to Ole Miss, but do this 3-4 years in a row without NCAA problems and then you'll have a program. They were good with Manning then fell off. Same with Kentucky and Miss St. One or two good recruiting years does not make a program.

They improved, from being complete garbage I guess, but I don't think their season rose to the level of a "complete turnaround." The recruiting surge has more to do with Nkimdiche that anything else imo.
