Do What Feels Right
|
1. North Carolina — Ho, hum. The Tar Heels swept last year’s surprise College World Series entrant, Stony Brook.
2. Arkansas — Arkansas seemed to figure it out with a 5-0 week, including a weekend sweep of Evansville in Fayetteville. 3. Oregon — The Ducks their first game of the season Friday night against Loyola Marymout, but came back to win the series. 4. Vanderbilt — The Commodores survived week two with relative ease, giving up only four runs in five games. 5. South Carolina — South Carolina got a scare on Sunday, but in the end it was a series sweep for the Gamecocks. 6. LSU — BYU gave the Tigers fits, splitting two this weekend. In all, it was a 3-1 week, but not without a couple of real battles. 7. North Carolina State — The Wolfpack’s 5-0 week included a combined no-hitter Saturday against LaSalle. 8. Oregon State — The Beavers easily swept a San Diego State team that came in undefeated. The Pac 12 could easily be decided in the Civil War this year. http://www.chasingomaha.com/college-...eek-two-2.html

I was also going to comment on the mention of NC States combined no hitter but not ours. And I don't particularly recall ever being scared this weekend but thats ok, haha

I'll go out on a limb and say half those schools won't make it...UNC, NC State, Oregon, ARkansas and Vanderbilt.
Okay...so almost half

How long before the taters spin it that they are being mentioned in the Omaha discussion?....but leave out the part that it is only because they are playing their daddy. That being said, when we sweep does Ray become the Granddaddy and Chad become the daddy of Clemson baseball?

There might be some moving going on in Week 3. Arky just lost a Thur and Fri game. One to Arizona and yesterday to Gonzaga (unranked).
Our win against Clemtech at their place was big. Hopefully we can continue that today.

Vandy's pitching staff looks legit... I think they will be our main competition for the East this year....
