Elgin Cook (2013 Prospect)
Northwest Florida State (FL) star Elgin Cook will visit both Oregon and Gonzaga this weekend
"Elgin is an elite level athlete and defender and is shooting over 60% from the field. His high skill level allows him to be a stat stuffer," said Northwest Florida head coach Steve Forbes. Cook, a 6'6 forward, is the son of former NBA All-Star Alvin Robertson. Coach Martin will need to scoop up local talent and tap into personal aquaintances to get top 150 talent to choose us. It's impossible to beat out an Oregon, all other factors equal. We simply can't offer that kind of visit. I think we should stick to what Martin knows: gritty intercity talent that has been overlooked. He turns chips on shoulders into rings on fingers.
