Moss could end up being the most sought after offensive lineman in his class from the Commonwealth. In the next recruiting cycle Moss, a 6-foot-4, 270-pound lineman from Fredericksburg, figures to be a major target for both Virginia and Virginia Tech as well as schools up and down the east coast and beyond. Already, the versatile lineman who could play guard or tackle in college has offers from UVa, Virginia Tech, Clemson, South Carolina, NC State, West Virginia, UNC and a host of others

Junior OL Steven Moss (6-5 285) of Frederickberg, VA is a highly recruited lineman with offers from USC and Clemson among others. He will be at USC on Saturday for the Tennessee game. He also visited USC and Clemson last spring. Moss also has been to Virginia, Maryland and Ohio State. He is going to Alabama on November 11th, Penn State on the 17th and Virginia on the 24th. All of those have offered along with North Carolina, NC State, East Carolina, Boston College, West Virginia, Maryland, Syracuse and Illinois. "I'm pretty much equal with all my schools, keeping an open mind, taking it all in," Moss said. "I'll narrow my list in the spring to six or seven. I'm not sure when I'll commit. My main thing is does the school have the major I want, the kind of program they have, one on the rise or one with a history of winning, and the coaching staff." Moss does not have a favorite.

Junior OL Steven Moss of Spotsylvania, VA was on hand for the USC-Tennessee game Saturday in Columbia. Moss visited USC back in the spring and now he has a taste of what a USC game looks like in Columbia. "I wanted to see what gameday was like," Moss said. "Coach Elliott said to come to more games. He said they could use people like me on their offensive line. I had seen the facilities before and they are pretty nice. I had a great time." Moss will go to Alabama November 10th, Penn State on the 17th and Virginia on the 24th. He's keeping an open mind about the schools. "All the schools are the same," Moss said.

2014 OL Stephen Moss of Spotsylvania, VA has offers from Clemson, USC, Florida State, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Illinois, North Carolina, Maryland, Syracuse, Penn State, East Carolina and NC State among others. He visited Clemson and USC this past October. "I went to Clemson for a cookout on my way to South Carolina," said Moss. "I was at USC for the Tennessee game. I am definitely interested in both schools." Moss is not ready to narrow his list. "I haven't really thought about it too much to tell you the truth," he said. "I'm just focusing on getting bigger and stronger." He plans to attend a couple of junior days closer to home but says this spring could find him back in the Palmetto State. "My mom is going to ask me where I want to go and I'm sure I'll go back to USC," he said.
