Default Do the Tarheels make the tournament?
Can the tarheels make it in? Or is it NIT no matter what?

If they can get Duke at home and get to the championship game of the ACC tournament, they could get in the big.dance I do not think they can beat Miami, but they can play with anyone else in the tournament.

Hate on me all you want.... but I'm a UNC fan. Not extreme but still favor them.

I really don't see how UNC gets to the big dance. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it. They got talent, just no experience. NIT is more realistic.

Last year there were 4 play in games.

to for 16 seeds, 1 for 12 and 1 for a 14.

In 2011 VCU was apart of this playing for an 11 seed and they went all the way to the final four.

If they finish the regular season at 21-10 (11-7 ACC) -- thinking the losses will come to NC State and Duke -- they will get in because of their RPI and strength of schedule. Would guess they would get a 9 seed because of that and their name recognition. Beating State or Duke would help shore up the NCAA bid and help seeding.

And this year just shows how important Kendall Marshall was to that team. Paige is decent, but nobody on that team has the court vision and feel for running an offense like Marshall.
