NBA 2K13

Anybody picked it up yet? Everything I've seen/read makes it look like this is gonna be a great edition of an already great franchise.

grabbing it this afternoon. Hope the shot stick is still there as a shooting button. I read somewhere that it's a dribble stick now and shot has to be "activated".

Should be a way to reverse back to last year's controls.

I'm confused on the online association. Our commish has paused it because it advances real fast but it keeps allowing us to play more and more games. Does it only count a weeks worth of games?

I might snag this around Black Friday for like $40. I keep hearing that Jay-Z has his name plastered all over the damn game despite only consulting on the soundtrack.

Can I just say, this game is sick. Every time I turn it on, I don't wanna turn it off... MUCH better than last year. The only thing I don't just love about the game is offensive rebounding. It's a bit ridiculous how often teams get offensive rebounds. other than that, I would HIGHLY recommend this game.

This post convinced me. I just picked it up, and the price drop didn't hurt. I have it for ps3 however, so anyone interested let me know. I haven't played an NBA game since NBA live 95 though, I think I might have a steep learning curve in front of me.

No idea. I don't hold a specific allegiance so an NBA team, so I'll probably play the create a character, and start a fantasy-draft NBA league. Bulls, OKC, Heat, Clips are probably fun to run with, considering personnel.

Yep I'm exactly the same way. The create a player mode is a lot of fun.. At least in 2K11 and 2K12.

create a player is alot better in 13 than 12, u gonna be happy with this purchase

and like someone mentioned earlier....O rebounding is pretty ridic when u on D but i did a fantasy draft and made sure my PF and C are both beast rebounders so that helps

also someone who said they just now playing since 95, just know that 2k CPUs are no joke, like i get blown out by the top level cpu....im not great but im not horrible, i get challenged very well on the 2nd hardest level....either way i think that is why i like 2k so much bc in madden im not gonna lose to CPU but i will alot in 2k

Glad it's not too easy. The only thing is once I play one game I just want to keep grinding my created player career haha. I like playing as PG since you have control over the team.

i was a PG too, just gotta make sure you go to a team that needs PG help...bc the first one i did i got drafted at 11 by the blazers so i pretty much just sat behind lillard all game....restarted and got detroit and did well.....actually had a game with 27 assists on 5 or 6 min quarters cant remember and the CPU froze on me trying to save it so it was all lost....havent touched that mode since lol

It's definitely a lot more fun to go to a team that isn't that good to grind it out and try and take them to the playoffs.
