According to Bill Gunter, we had a third official visitor this weekend. He could not give a name at the moment, but he said the guy was a 6-8 forward.

That report says he is being recruited by Georgetown, Iowa, Stanford, and Seton Hall. So he has some high major interest out there.

Because his dad contacted FM. He wanted FM to coach him. per Cary Rich on his show this morning. Here is an interview from Aug with him along with highlights.

There are also some game highlights from his jr year in the side bar. I think he was the only non d-1 senior in the starting lineup. If your a member of tbs, I posted a bunch of info in the Mcguire room about most of the recruits. I VIPed it so get a membership if u want to see it. Its worth the 10 dollars a month.

There is a fairly wide difference of opinion on Theus Jr from different recruiting sites that have seen him play. One says he's pretty good and has a big upside. The other says he's not very good and is a project at best. But Dad really likes Martin and wants his son to play for him or someone like him.

Maybe he could walk-on. Dad can surely afford the tuition. Either way, I would like the idea of him on the team. His name alone would bring more interest in the program and having his dad in the CLA would be great. If he did turn out to be a great player, can you imagine all the publicity surrounding the program?

Didn't see this coming...yet another under the radar guy. 6'6" slashing forward. I guess this means we'll take either Reynolds or Henry now and probably not both.

Nevertheless judging from his interview, he seems like a well spoken, intelligent kid who is a self proclaimed hard worker. Sounds perfect for FM.

Interesting signing. He has a pretty good frame. Read he was 6'6 205, so he can play SG or SF. By count that puts our class at:

Thornwell
Johnson (TR)
Ringer
McKie
Notice
Shaw
Theus Jr.

And we could still get Reynolds or Henry. This is shaping up to being the largest recruiting class here in recent memory.

Honestly, with this big of a class, I see some of these recruits leaving after a year or two as well as some of the current guys which is already a done deal.
