Can you tell me more about the zucchini chips? Looks like thin sliced - but what's on top? put em in the oven on broil to darken/melt the topping / cook the zucchini? Friend zucchini is one of the few appetizers me and the wife agree on - would love to make a suitable alternative at home.

I'm going to do a focus post on them soon. Honestly, I don't know what she cooks them on. We have a slicer and I cut them almost as thin as I can. She puts them in a milk/egg mixture and then in some bread crumbs and cheese and pepper and then tosses them in ... very easy to do, but really good.

I would like to know about the zucchini chips as well. I usually just cook zucchini hibachi style but I am looking for a different way to cook it sense I use way too much butter the way I do it now.

I never injected meats with anything before. Do you have to inject it at several different points, or will one point do?

Multiple points and it also depends o the size of the cut. Some injectors have a syringe with numerous exit holes down the shaft of the needle. This allows you to pump a large swath of meat with one puncture. You could then move over 2" for the next injection, etc. That needele would look like this:



An easy and cheap way to see if you like doing this is to buy one of these for $6. The free injector will last you long after you have used up the marinade.

/\ we've used this injection before and it's actually really good for the cost

As Yancey said, depending on the meat, but even with this chicken I went in at 4-5 points. If you don't have a needle with multiple exits you can just work it up and down or slowly pull it out and keep shooting while you're going (there will never been a dirtier sounding post than this on CT)

Thanks Yancey and Cack. I figured you had to inject at multiple points to get the job done. I will have to look for that product that you showed. I hoping to get a new grill soon because my old small patio master is just not getting the job done any longer.
