Default Sports physical therapy

Would anyone be able to recommend a place in Columbia for sports physical therapy? I have been having a lot of problems with my lower back and hip flexors lately. I am inflexible as all get out and some mornings (like this morning) I wake up and cannot sit up straight with my legs out without feeling a lot of discomfort in the lower back area. I'm only in Columbia for a couple more weeks so I don't know if I should go while here or wait until I am in Texas to get it checked out. I probably need an x-ray, a list of exercises/stretches to help improve strength and flexibility of those regions, and possibly some sort of body alignment.

Thanks in advance.

Not to toot my own horn, but I am an orthopedic PT specializing in the spine (but treat all areas of the locomotor system). PM me and we can help to treat your issues.

USC sports medicine. Those guys treat all the athletes so I'm sure they are familiar with all kinds of injuries.

I haven't been stretching as regularly as I should, but I know to get "over the hump" I need to be doing it regularly.

Catdaddy hooked me up with some good info and I'm going to try and stick to it as best I can.

The hard part is the discipline. The discomfort is worse in the first few days but you reap the benefits if you can do 1 month!! Good luck my friend!
