Acock's SEC Wrap Up: Week 10
Well, the SEC held serve this week, no one really won that wasn't sort of supposed to. That means we have to wait another week before we kinda sorta know who might be in Atlanta. (Hint: 'Bama)
Game 1: #14 South Carolina 34 Mississippi State 16
Connor Shaw only completed 10 passes all day. Unfortunately for MSU 4 of them were for touchdowns. Both teams decided not to play the 4th quarter and scrimmaged for the hell of it.
Game 2: #9 Missouri 31 Tennessee 3
It's Missouri's turn this week to make us even feel worse about losing to these guys. After beating USC Tennessee has been outscored 76 - 13 in their next two games. Go screw yourself Butch Jones.
Game 3: #11 Auburn 35 Arkansas 17
Gus Malzhan found out what happens when you make Beilema angry. Nothing, as it turns out.
Game 4: Kentucky 48 Alabama State 14
This was a good win for Kentucky. No, I'm serious! Look...hey...wait, no really, this was...yeah, you're right.
Game 5: #12 Texas A&M 57 UTEP 7
In typical ATM fashion they got behind, dicked around for a quarter and then put up 50+ points.
Game 6: Georgia 23 Florida 20
Highly entertaining game. Meant almost nothing. Muschamp is beginning to learn that you can't win by staring.
Week 7 Power Ranking
1. Alabama (8-0)
Next up LSU: Gets LSU at home, which helps. Les Miles is insane, which doesn't.
2. Missouri (7-1)
Next up @Kentucky: Going to Kentucky is almost like playing a road game in the SEC. Almost.
3. Auburn (8-1)
Next up @Tennessee: Drops a spot because they actually struggled a little with Arkansas. That's like struggling with closing the deal with Lindsey Lohan.
4. LSU (7-2)
Next up @Bama: I've overranked them all year. Probably doing it again.
5. Texas A&M (7-2)
Next up MSU: Perfect trap game for A&M. Too bad it's MSU.
6. South Carolina (7-2)
Next up off: Connor Shaw will spend the off week running through brick walls and saving orphans, Spurrier's already playing golf, drinking a Coors light, and generally being cooler than you.
7. Ole Miss (5-3)
Next up Arkansas: Had a whole week to prepare for Arkansas. A whole week.
8. Georgia (5-3)
Next up App State: At 5-3 they shouldn't be even sniffing the SEC East, but hey, it's Georgia.
9. Florida (4-4)
Next up Vandy: A loss sends them to Vandy sends them below .500. Just as an experiment that would be interesting.
10. Vandy (4-4)
Next up @Florida: This is a HUGE game for Vandy. Win it, and they have a legit shot at going .500 in the SEC. Lose it and Franklin's story gets a lot harder to sell to recruits.
11. MSU (4-4)
Next up @Texas A&M: Thoughts and prayers go out to Dak Prescott this week. Going to be awfully hard for them to focus.
12. Tennessee (4-5)
Next up Auburn: Judging from the past two games I'd say the tricks Jones has left up his sleeve are zero.
13. Kentucky (2-6)
Next up Missouri: It's at home, so fewer people will get to see it.
14. Arkansas (3-6)
Next up @Ole Miss: Beliema wants you to know that Hugh Freeze totally ran that stop light.
Always remember... stay Feisty.

UT will hurt Auburn's star players leaving them beat up when they play UGA...
