Default St. Pierre retiring?

Just watched UFC 167 and after the main event win, GSP said he was "hanging the gloves up for a bit." With retirement rumors circulating before the fight, do you think he is walking away "for a bit", or for good?

I'm a big fan of GSP, yet i'm hoping he does retire because too many fighters think they have one more left, and end up getting obliterated. Would much rather see GSP go out with dignity.

Default Re: St. Pierre retiring?

He has been in MMA for a long time. It is a brutal sport in all aspects and your time is finite. I agree he should go out on top and not turn into Jens Pulver. It may not be right away despite the rumors but it will happen in a couple more fights/years. I remember him on his knees after he finished his opponent, and he was begging Dana White for a title shot! That was a while back...
