eh. It's different strokes for different folks. I got fed up with TWC after 8 years and switched to Directtv and love it. It doesn't go out nearly as much as people claim.

I have had TWC and AT&T and prefer AT&T.
Never had dish or direct.

I've had both over the past few years. Direct trumps TWC except for the start over feature. That's all I really miss.

In Forest Acres as well. We've had them all, DirecTV, Time Warner, U-verse

We continually had issues with Time Warner's bill. They would tell us what our charges would be, then our bill would be a good $200 higher than that. Customer service could not explain it when we called them.

We're with DirecTV now. Only issues we have is when it goes out for a few minutes before a storm.

had twc. it sucks. had dish is a little better. have direct is the best. I do think the guide and search are easier on dish though but I love the genie dvr with direct and more hd channels than dish

I've never had a problem with twc. I love the on demand channels (not available on satellite). just regular stuff on demand, comedy central, ESPN stuff, etc. plus look.back and start over. I would be tempted by at&t though, if they would ever expand to my area!

Directv destroys twc IMO. I love directv. Their customer service is excellent and they constantly give you free stuff when you call them. Their channel packages are really good. Also opens up tailgating TV options. I hear UVerse is also nice but I've never used it.

I have had both DirectTV and Dish. Dish wins out in my opinion because of their program guide. It is light years better than what DirectTV has. Icons make all the difference.

I can only compare TWC and Dish. IMO, Dish wins and it's not even close. Better programming guide, get more for your money, and most importantly to me was better customer service.

I loved DTv...but i got rid of it and have the comcast xfinity stream through an Appletv with netflix and hbogo. Espn app is better than Dtv for me. The Espn3 streams = 90% of what i watch. Only time it blows is when my saints are playin in NFL network.......

Time Warner has lost an incredible amount of market share. They used to run it. I've not had cable in 7 years. I have the Genie set up now, it's the best. You can stream on mobile devices. If I forget to record a show at home, I jump on my app and tell my receiver to record it. I can record 5 shows at once. I've got a terabyte of storage on my DVR.

Basically, everyone else is still playing catchup. DirecTV is a mile ahead of everyone.

Had Directv for years. They jacked up my bill every year. I would call and they would offer me a discount. This went on every year until they finally stopped and expected me to pay $120 a month for basic HD service with DVR...zero pay channels. So much for being a long term customer.

I switched to Dish 4 months ago and LOVE it! Their Hopper is awesome, video quality is equal to or better then Directv (plus service never goes out unlike it did with Directv). And I'm paying $78 a month.

I'm not talking about movies on demand, I'm talking about A&E on demand (never have to DVR duck dynasty), AMC, ABC, NBC, CBS, basically every channel has On Demand programming of their top rated shows. No need to DVR most of what I watch.

People keep talking about customer service . . . . I call TWC once a year to get put back on whatever promotion is happening. If the other services are so great - why are you talking to customer service so much?

The only problem I've had (other than storm outages, rarely) was my downstairs box said it wasn't authorized or something one morning. I called TWC, they shot it a signal, fixed it while I was on the phone, and they gave me all the HBO's and Starz channels, and lowered my bill, for a year. Made me check and tell them I could watch HBO and Starz before I hung up!
