Interesting that we are losing arguably the greatest QB in USC's history and we have more size, skill and potential at that position headed into next year than I can remember.

I think it'll be Nosovitch so that we can continue to run the read option plays.

Neither Thompson or Mitch are the type of QB to run that play

True story

at the very least Spurrier gets to keep running the beloved QB Draw but with a bigger and thicker QB

Connor Mitch and NFL ready don't belong in the same sentence right now, no matter which part of him you are talking about. Kinda helps that the only people who are saying so are on message boards. No coaches, no scouts...just Swagga and you so far. There are 32 starters in the NFL, some teams don't even carry 3rd string qbs but let's just play along and say they do. That is 96 NFL arms, so you believe he is in that conversation right now?

Hey, maybe I am wrong, just think its way to early to say that.

I feel like the Connor Mitch - NFL ready posts are the actual trolling, especially with Swaggas follow up posts. But even so, if you are going to call other people stupid you may want to correct your spelling while doing it.

I dont know what else to tell you but all that was said is he has a NFL arm. The reason he made that statement is in terms of arm strength. Arm strength comes form motion and footwork and Mitch has that now. No where did anyone mention how good at reading defenses, accuracy, and his decision making skills are. That will come with time. So again I dont understand where you are getting that swagga said Mitch was ready for the NFL.

All I am saying is this:

Connor Mitch, if you look around these boards, is the next best thing to come to South Carolina. His followers treat him like he is the best QB to ever step foot on this campus. Spurrier "got his guy" when he committed here - or so that's what everyone says. I don't think Spurrier said that, but that's what all the analyst and fans say - like they can read the mind of Steve Spurrier (which would be quite interesting and entertaining). He's supposedly got the arm of a God, and is NFL ready...(sarcasm). But in honesty, he's suppose to have good arm strength and be able to play with the big boys on Saturday.

Nosovitch: He's the type of QB that can run the offense like it is right now. No major changes needed. He's fully capable of running the read-option and tossing a few touchdowns. Obviously he would be a step-down from Shaw, but that's a hard person to live up too. Can he do it? Sure.

Thompson: We've already seen what he can do in a game. While all his experience hasn't been the greatest, Thompson wins his fans off the field more than on it. He's one of the most genuinely nice guys you'll ever have the opportunity to meet. He's proven that he can win game(s), and that while he isn't mobile, can run.

Thompson/Nosovitch/Mitch will all compete for their positions on the depth chart in the Spring and Fall camp. Do not expect a decision to be made until next Fall. And in all honesty, it's not unlike Spurrier to play multiple QB's...

This is not one person's to lose.

No major changes to the offense with Mitch either. Hes been in the system for a year now and played in a read option offense/Shotgun offense in High School.

You don't have to tell me anything...I said I stopped reading when I saw the words NFL ready used to described something about Connor Mitch, who has never played a single snap in a college game. That's pretty much all there is to it.

You aint gonna talk cause you dont kno what u talkin bout anywat. Who cares if i made avtypo on my phone? Shit is stupid.

Bottom linr is, i know what im talking about. Ive spent countless hours studying the position for years. Its my personal hobby. It also help that i played football in school.

I didn't say he was NFL ready. His arm is. If you or these other fans knew what they were talking about youd understand that you either got it or you dont. Example, tewbow strong as **** right? Cant throw with velocity to save his life. Its his throwing motion that limits him from being anle to do so. Alex smith. Has a noodle arm. Doesnt mean hes terrible. But Mitch has a stronger arm.

You dont workout to get your arm strength better. Theres nothing you can do but try and change your throwing motion. Which is almost impossible because a QB devrlops it at a young age.

Also, didnt compare mitch to marino or elway. Used them as examples as to what they did to get their arm strength.

People talk about Connor Mitch the same way they talked about Stephen Garcia when he was first here. I would like to see the guy play a down of college ball before anointing him the next coming.

I'm still trying to figure out what a "causal" fan is. I wonder if I'm one of those.

caus·al (kôzl)adj.1. Of, involving, or constituting a cause: a causal relationship between scarcity of goods and higher prices.
2. Indicative of or expressing a cause.

n. A word or grammatical element, such as since or because, expressing a cause or reason.

So, are some of the fans causing the QB controversy? Maybe the statement is brilliant, not a typo.
