Default Adobe Flash Help

I'm hoping that someone here has some experience with Adobe Flash. I'm trying to make shapes that change and remain a certain color when clicked on. Then I want those shapes to change back to the original color when clicked on again. I know how to use keyframes to make buttons do certain things, but apparently keyframes do not allow shapes to remain the different color when clicked on.

I know this isn't the best place to ask for help with this, but I've looked at some Adobe Flash forums, and it's like the users in there are speaking an entirely different language so I thought I'd ask on here and see what happens.
