Default Happy 60th Bithday...

...to the C-130 Hercules. First flight August 23, 1954. I can remember seeing the "Roman nose" models occasionally stopping in at Shaw AFB when we were there in the early 70s.



They are a common sight here in the bay area with Air Force birds visiting MacDill AFB, as well as the HC-130s based at the Clearwater Coast Guard Air Station.
