Default Mustard based BBQ Sauce

So tomorrow is the day CofCCock is going to try to brave the world of homemade BBQ sauces for some pork I'm cooking and shredding. I looked around on the Carolina Eats boards and didn't see anything, so I was wondering if anyone here would be willing to share a mustard-based concoction they enjoy? I promise not to tell anyone ;)

Wise BBQ in Clinton has a spectacular Mustard sauce. Also pigout in Spartanburg is really good. Both sell sauce to go. Most of the ones you get in the Grocery store are alright but nothing special. Go with Maurice over Melvin if you are debating between the brothers.

Sorry misread that you were actually trying to make one. Not hard at all, although its hard to beat some of the local sauces that are time tested.

reduce on stove and add a little liquid smoke or do the right thing and simmer it on the smoker w/ some hickory

and dont take credit or ill know! (If you do it on the smoker it looks more like a dark sauce but tastes like mustard)

thank you minnow, that turned out pretty well ;)

And as for the google suggestions... Yes I am aware of google but in my experience sometimes grabbing "southern" recipes off the web don't always result in making what we (southerners) really cook, so I figured I'd ask people actually from here what they do.

Where is Pigout located?

NM, I got off my lazy fat ass (well that isn't even true) I opened a new tab on my browser and found it.

A Gamecock football related story that involves mustard based Bar-B-Q sauce.

The other say I was watching a show and the former UGA o lineman John Stinchcomb(sp) said that tasting mustard based sauce on his recruiting visit to Columbia was almost enough to make him change him committment from UGA to the Gamecocks.
