Vandy is throwing Tennessee a beating right now. Its on ESPN. Def a good game. Bruce Pearl already has 1 technical foul for getting too rowdy. The referees are TERRIBLE. Its very entertaining TV.

Don't get your panties in a wad...lol. Just because your ranked #1 doesn't mean you're the best team in the country. Kind of like when we were ranked #6 in football...I said that was crazy and we got there by default.

And yeah you beat Memphis. They are a good team, but let's be honest...they hadn't played anybody. I don't look for them to go far in the tourney either.

I'm not man...hey, me and you have, for the most part, always got along, no problems from me. I don't think we are the best team in the nation but I think we are better then Kansas and I really believe the only team that is better then us is North Carolina, possibly Texas, but thats up for debate.

It's all good buddy. And maybe saying UT wasn't a Top 10 team was a stretch. But I honestly think there are several teams...UNC, Duke, Texas, UCLA...just to name a few, that are much better. This is a down year for the SEC and I really don't think UT has been tested like they will in the NCAA tourney.

Heck I hope I'm wrong. I always pull for the SEC...especially when our b-ball sucks as bad as they do.

I think that UT deserves to be #1 until someone beats them. UNC has some bad losses just like UT. UT beats the top team in the country in their house...they good by me

it's still early, UT will get back in this. I love Vandy at home...they're very tough and may very well win ( I took'em)....but I think UT is a top 5 team myself. I saw the massacre we took from them in the CC.

I can understand those points. And I think they are valid. I think the thing about our schedule is we have played some teams that are usually pretty good, but they are down as well (Xavier, West Virginia, Gonzaga, Florida) and while those wins look good, they are very deceiving. I agree with all of your views for the most part, good all-around points.

Those teams may indeed be better than UT, but with the way seeding is chances are UT wont have to face a team of that caliber until atleast the sweet 16 to elite 8. I think they atleast make it to the 3rd round or further.

i think tennessee is a damn good team. deserves to be number 1. I'd rather UT be #1 over UNC or Duke. They only have 2 losses to Texas and Kentucky. Tennessee is awesome and honestly I would be surprised if they didn't make it to the final four.
