Unusual pets

Anyone ever had an unusual pet? I had a turtle named Speedy.

I used to own a tarantula when I was in middle school. However, I never took care of him. One day I came back and found half of his legs gone. There was also a part of his leg in front of him. Turns out, he was eating his own legs because I never fed him!

Other than that though... just a dog, a few fish, and a cat.

My grandparents had a raccoon back when I was a kid. Friend of mine has a squirrel.

My first pet when I get my own place is going to be a Red Fox.

Not too unusual of a pet... but a funny and strange story still!

When I was in the sixth grade my science teacher had two hampsters in his classroom named Jack and Jill. Every weekend a student got to take the two home and care for them until monday. Then came my turn.

It wasn't hunger because she had plenty of food, it had to be hormonal. I awoke sunday morning to find that Jill had eaten more than half of Jack. She ate him head first, the only part of Jack that was left was his hind quarters!

I learned a lesson very early about thinking quickley on your feet, imagine explaining that to your classmates monday morning!

I had 2 pigeons that I raised from chicks. They were pretty stupid as far as birds go. but I could call them and they would fly to me. Their names were " shit" and " head".

I also have an 8 month old Anery Corn Snake named Draco. She's the same as this one (markings) except the Redish Brown color has been
bred out. So basically she's like a Black and White image of this one.

You, my friend, are completely insane! The thought of one of those creatures in my house frightens the shiznit outta me! I am extremely arachnophobic...

That's pretty cool Spurticus. I would like to have a snake but I'd be afraid it would bite me lol.

Corns are notoriously gentle snakes. . . probably the most docile of any bred of snake. They'll stirke in the wild when they're cornered, but once you pick them up, they calm down very quickly and adapt to captivity very easily.

This one was wild caught, and it took me about a week before she stopped striking at me, but I haven't had it so much as even attempt it in the last 7 months.

When I lived out at Folley Beach I had a skunk. Descented. I had a little harness for him and he loved to walk down the beach to the bar where I found that I could always get a seat.

When my wife and I were dating, we stopped at a Waffle House in Anderson on our way back from a Braves Game one night, and there was only us and one other guy in the resturaunt. I noticed the waitress kept looking over at the guy sitting next to the window, and telling him to "Go Get It". She said that about 4 times, and I was thinking a drug deal was gonig down or something


This guy goes outside, and comes back in with a Skunk and I thought my wife was going to tear that place down getting back to the rear of the store. . . the guy started laughing and said it had been descented and he had had it for several months. That thing was cool as hell.
You should have seen the look on my wife (then Girlfriends) face when I went over and picked it up !!!
